We are currently offering the following range of courses to ensure that your training needs are fully supplied. Novice Course (5 Day)
Aimed at people with no previous experience
Operator Course (3 Day)
Aimed at people who have had previous operating experience, but either do not have a certificate or are unable to provide proof that they held one
Refresher Course (1 Day)
For those operators who have been trained and tested in the UK in the past, and are able to provide the certificate (or copy of) proving that they have had this
Conversion Course
For those operators who already hold a certificate in one type of fork truck, but would like to gain a certificate in another type. This often results in a much wider appeal to prospective employers.
All of our courses include the following:
• Basic RTITB, NORS or National Plant NPORS Registration
• Full Certification and Test Fees
• Provision of ID card with photograph
• Certificate of Basic Training
• A detailed course manual with working exercises (except Refresher courses)

Specialised Courses
Some of our other courses available include:
Shunter Training
Designed for Operators who may not have received formal HGV training, its aim is to describe the function and controls on a tractor and semi-trailer unit and to explain factors, which affect its maneuverability. At the end of the Course a delegate will be able to identify controls and instruments, couple and uncouple safely and accurately, and manoeuvre an articulated vehicle both forwards and in reverse in open and confined areas. In addition, they will be able to conduct an inspection and takeover. The course is 1 – 3 days on your site, depending on experience level. Course Delegates Must Produce A Full Driving License At Course Commencement
Overhead Crane
The course is 1-Day duration on site at your premises and has been designed for operators who are required to use an overhead crane with or without an attachment. Its aim is to describe the hazards and risks associated with its use and to demonstrate a method of using the crane in conjunction with appropriate slinging/chains and shackles to enable safe lifting procedures.
Slinging / Signaller / Banksman
The course is 1-Day duration on site at your premises and is designed for users of lifting equipment in the form of either ropes and slings, or chains and shackles. At the end of the Course an operator will be able to demonstrate the ability to assess loads and select appropriate lifting gear, carry out necessary pre-use inspections, adopt safe lifting and transporting procedures and communicate by the use of appropriate hand signals.
Attachment Training
The course is divided into two half-day sessions for 3 trainees per session and raises awareness of the dangers associated when fitting and using attachments onto a standard lift truck. Designed for operators required to lift and manoeuvre, its aim is to demonstrate a method of safe and effective use of the attachment. It is intended for any lift truck operator who has undergone Basic Training, but who has not received specific training in the use of the attachment. (Operators must produce evidence of their formal Basic Training).
Transport Workplace Safety (Vehicle Banskman)
The course is divided into two half-day sessions for 3 trainees per session. This course raises awareness of the dangers caused when drivers are required to manoeuvre, either in reverse, in confined areas or when the load obscures their view. Designed for any person required to assist those drivers in their manoeuvres, its aim is to demonstrate a method of effective communication by use of recognised hand signals.
Management / Supervisor Safety Awareness
The course is conducted on your site over 1 day, it’s aim being to outline legislation affecting the safe operation of lift trucks and to explain training requirements and training records, including authorization of operators to operate on company premises. At the end of the seminar, delegates will be able to conduct a simple departmental/site assessment, identify specific and familiarization training needs, conduct an inspection and takeover and offer solutions to rectify unsafe operating procedures identified
Manual Handling
Designed for employees who may be required to manually handle or move loads or equipment within the workplace, its aim is to describe the hazards and risks associated with manual handling/lifting and to demonstrate good handling techniques. Two modules are covered practicing an individual lift and a tandem lift (where appropriate).
